sÜne santurtzi

SÜNE is Josune Arakistain’s musical project, where she blends her two main influences: Basque folk songs and electronic music. On her first album, entitled “Amaineman,” which means “flow” or “ let go” in Basque, she presents songs about changing stages in life, the fear of new beginnings, and freedom, always addressing issues that are very important to her, such as tradition and women’s empowerment.

I had been following Josune since she was in Huntza, and after doing some work with this project, Josune trusted me from the beginning to work as the project’s photographer and filmmaker, creating content for her concerts. The one in Santurtzi is just one example of the photos I deliver at these concerts.
